Location: Gimli
Become a Temporary Educational Assistant rge Johnson School, working under Evergreen School Division. Engage with students through this 5.75 hours per day role focused on educational support.
The position is temporary, available from ASAP until June 30, 2027. As an Educational Assistant, you'll assist with students' academic and social development while supporting personalized educational programs. Ideal applicants will have relevant training and a minimum Grade 12 education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic support to students
• Assist with speech-language and communication activities
• Help supervise daily school routines
• Support library operations and book fairs
• Ensure safe assistance with personal mobility needs
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 qualification or equivalent
• Desired Para Educator Certificate
• Experience in behavior management coursework
• Proficient in technology and educational tools
• Relevant training in assistance roles
