Early Years Physical Education Teacher

This term position will run from November 16, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology or Physical Education, with familiarity in Manitoba’s Physical Education and Health curriculum. The role focuses on coordinating engaging intramural and extracurricular programs to promote a safe and purposeful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Physical Education curriculums

• Coordinate intramural, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities

• Foster a safe and engaging learning environment

• Incorporate technology to enhance student learning

• Champion physical activity and health education

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education

• Knowledge of Manitoba’s PE and Health curriculum

• Experience in developing physical literacy

• Successful completion of Commit 2 Kids or Respect in Schools training

• Permanent Teaching Certificate (Manitoba)
