Long & McQuade is seeking experienced Lessons Teachers to work as independent contractors at their Lesson Centres. Candidates should have a strong background in music, be it through a degree, diploma, or RCM certification. Previous teaching experience and familiarity with diverse teaching methods in both private and group settings are essential to inspire and guide students effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach piano, guitar, bass, drums, and more
• Develop lesson plans based on curriculum standards
• Engage with students of varying ages
• Utilize effective teaching methodologies for diverse learners
• Maintain a supportive and educational environment
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma or Grade 8 RCM standing
• Previous teaching experience with students of all ages
• Knowledge of standard teaching methods
• Professional equivalency accepted
• Passion for music education and student success
