Share your making skills at the Winnipeg Public Library’s ideaMILL during an 18-week residency at Millennium Library. Create on-site and teach library visitors through scheduled programming.
The Winnipeg Public Library is recruiting two local makers for its 2027 Makers-in-Residence terms. Each residency takes place on the third floor of the Millennium Library’s ideaMILL, with terms running from mid-February to mid-June or mid-August to mid-December. Residents will offer weekly drop-in hours and deliver workshops.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and share making skills in the ideaMILL
- Offer weekly scheduled drop-in hours for visitors
- Teach participants through five branch library workshops
- Deliver workshops based on your skillset
- Be a local maker
- Provide a skillset suitable for participant workshops
- Commit to an 18-week residency term
- Be available during one listed 2027 term
