Overview

Join our Engineering Services group and play a key role in shaping the future of airport infrastructure across Canada and beyond. As part of our Airports team, you will contribute to cutting‑edge planning and engineering solutions for major airport and heliport programs. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise as an ORAT SME to a high‑profile airport project, supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and high‑performance passenger transport systems.

This position requires a full‑time presence five days per week at the project office to support close collaboration and program delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead technical activities across ORAT work streams including BHS, IT, Above‑Wing, Below‑Wing, Trials, and Transition; support the ORAT Functional Lead in daily coordination and execution of workstream activities; identify risks and proactively raise issues to ensure project continuity and success.

Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve operational readiness of airport facilities; contribute to the successful integration of systems and processes across the program; guide, coach, and mentor client and stakeholder teams to build long‑term operational capability.

Qualifications

Demonstrated extensive experience as a Subject Matter Expert in aviation projects (at least 5 to 7 years of experience); deep knowledge of airport operations and the aviation industry; strong aptitude for managing ORAT activities and work streams in complex environments; proficiency in coordinating stakeholders and contributing to operational readiness programs; ability to support large‑scale international airport projects and deliver impactful outcomes.

Compensation

Expected compensation is between $100,200 - $137,700 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters such as skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
