Join Complete Genomics as an NGS Field Service Engineer, providing critical support for genomic innovation across Canada. Your technical skills will drive customer success through expert service.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of NGS instruments. You will work both remotely and onsite, ensuring optimal performance while enhancing customer relationships and providing valuable feedback to improve services. Your role also includes managing spare part inventory and collaborating with various teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on NGS equipment
- Document service activities to track resources in CRM
- Build relationships through exceptional customer service
- Install and remove equipment per documented procedures
- Manage spare part inventory and feedback processes
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/science or technical diploma with experience
- Expertise in complex life science equipment installation
- Robust problem‑solving and interpersonal skills
- Prior field service experience preferred
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
