Contract Operator
Elevate your career as a Contract Operator with Whitecap Resources in Valhalla, located 45 minutes from Grande Prairie. Lead daily inspections and enhance production safety measures.
Reporting to the Area Superintendent, this position involves proactive management of oil and natural gas operations. You'll perform daily inspections of well and pipeline equipment, carry out necessary well testing, and keep the Foreman informed of significant maintenance activities. Additionally, you will play a key role in running the current gas plant equipped with an amine treating facility.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inspections of well and facility equipment
- Perform well testing and document results
- Alert Foreman to major maintenance needs
- Maintain safety standards across operations
- Manage operations of the amine treating facility
- 4th class steam ticket and/or process heater ticket
- Required safety tickets and valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years experience in the industry
- Commercial insurance and WBC account necessary
- Strong safety compliance mindset
