Shape the future of renewable energy as a Senior Field Technician with Canadian Solar in Nova Scotia. Utilize your skills in maintenance and diagnostics to support innovative energy storage solutions.
In this role, you will be pivotal in operating and maintaining energy storage systems while adhering to warranty requirements and customer satisfaction. Your background in renewable energy and technical troubleshooting will enable you to ensure optimal functionality of Power Conversion Stations and Energy Storage Cabinets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct testing and commissioning of energy storage systems
• Manage maintenance operations and ensure compliance with safety policies
• Document maintenance activities and work orders promptly
• Assist in training clients on system operations
• Supervise subcontractors during installations
Requirements:
• Electrical Technician certification with minimum 5 years of experience
• OSHA 30 Certification mandatory
• Familiarity with medium voltage systems and national codes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to travel extensively as required
