Position: Solar Technician Role in Ontario
Be a part of Northland Power's mission as a Solar Technician in Ontario, ensuring safe operations and high performance of solar facilities. Your technical skills will help optimize energy generation across various sites.

In this position, you will oversee several solar facilities, conducting vital repairs and maintenance as needed. Familiarity with SCADA systems and high-voltage equipment is essential for maximizing electrical output while focusing on safety standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee safe operations and maintenance of solar facilities

• Perform routine checks and necessary repairs at sites

• Participate in on-call support rotations as they arise

• Manage the coordination of contractors for maintenance tasks

• Use technical skills to enhance solar generation efficiency

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Completion or nearing completion of Journeyman Electrician

• Proven experience with high-voltage systems in maintenance

• In-depth understanding of SCADA control systems

• Valid Class G driver's license required
