In the role of Health & Safety Specialist, you will implement corporate safety policies and ensure strict compliance with health regulations. Your collaboration with site staff, preparation of training programs, and incident investigations will contribute to creating a safer workplace. Travel across Canada will be essential, alongside developing positive relationships with field crews to address safety effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate workplace health and safety programs
• Verify safety training certifications of workers
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on safety issues
• Design safety campaigns based on trends
• Submit WCB paperwork for incidents
Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience in safety regulations
• Advanced First Aid and CPR certifications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital documentation
• Willing to travel frequently
