Position: Solar Technician at Northland Power

In this technician role, you will oversee the operations and maintenance of multiple solar facilities. The position involves routine checks and repairs, on-call support, and contractor management for site upkeep. Your expertise in SCADA systems and high-voltage equipment will play an essential role in optimizing solar energy production while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee protected operations and maintenance of solar facilities

• Conduct routine checks and repairs at assigned sites

• Participate in on-call support rotations as required

• Manage contractors for site upkeep and repairs

• Utilize technical skills to optimize solar generation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Completion or nearing completion of Journeyman Electrician

• Preventative maintenance experience on high-voltage systems

• Solid understanding of SCADA control systems

• Valid Class G driver's license required
