Energy Management Specialist Position

Excel in energy management at Maple Leaf Foods as you implement conservation measures and enhance energy efficiency. This role requires a strategic mindset and strong execution skills to drive sustainability efforts.

The Energy Management Specialist will directly report to the Continuous Improvement Manager, focusing on overseeing energy programs that align with organizational sustainability goals. You will play a crucial role in the assessment of energy savings and the justification of capital projects for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute corporate sustainability strategy for energy efficiency

• Manage energy efficiency projects across the Lagimodiere plant

• Review contractor bids and coordinate with vendors

• Prepare monthly performance reports for management

• Promote energy conservation campaigns internally

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or CET certification

• 3+ years of experience in energy management

• Strong analytical and financial evaluation capabilities

• Proven project management experience

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
