The Industrial Labour for Specialized Services will be working alongside a team of highly trained individuals who handle the company’s most dynamic projects. This individual will be highly motivated, coachable and willing to obtain further training while always displaying a positive attitude.

Key Accountabilities
* Involved with execution of chemical and petroleum transfers including materials handling
* Fully engaged as an entrant, manwatch, or rescue attendant for Confined Space Entry projects inclusive of tank cleanings.
* Involvement with HAZMAT Emergency Response and responding to spills
* Involvement with transloading of railcars (Both liquid and solid products)
* Involvement with railcar cleaning and purging operations
* Involvement with environmental projects and assisting as required
* Involvement with technical rescue services including water response
* Fully engaged with decontamination projects under direction of project leader
* Participation in projects that are deemed out of scope or require more planning and preparation
* Willingness to lead by example and work safely, ensuring compliance with all GFL’s policies and procedures
* Affiliation and involvement with various divisions, and various work types throughout the company

Requirements:
* Physically fit
* Able to work long hours
* Able to work out of town from time to time
* Meticulous, organized and motivated
* Able to problem solve and trouble shoot
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Able to take direction and follow through on instructions
* Mechanically inclined
* Vacuum truck and power washing would be an asset
* Specialized training provided by GFL
