In this senior role, you will focus on piping systems for nuclear energy generation projects. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will help analyze existing conditions, interact with various engineering disciplines, and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Successful candidates will have substantial experience overseeing piping models and ensuring code compliance, while contributing to important design modifications and system recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct piping analysis on generation nuclear projects
• Review and reconcile pipe stress reports for accuracy
• Prepare analytical reports on piping reactions
• Interface with external equipment suppliers and contractors
• Provide mentoring to developing engineers
Requirements:
• 5+ years in piping analysis and code compliance
• BS/MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and BPV piping codes
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with pipe support design
