Intermediate Environmental Scientist at WSP

This position at WSP’s Remediation Program Management team is based in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Regina. You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for field investigations and preparing detailed technical reports. We specialize in health and safety, contaminated site management, and meeting complex regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate project field work and instruction preparation
• Conduct investigations of soil, groundwater, and sediment
• Manage subcontractors and oversee site remediation efforts
• Mentoring junior staff during environmental assessments
• Prepare technical reports and proposals for project reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience in site assessments
• Remedial excavation experience required
• Understanding of local environmental regulations
• Previous experience with soil and groundwater sampling
