Job Overview

This role is part of our ET/UT product line. The incumbent performs the architecture or development of VHDL and/or Verilog modules on FPGA, and participates throughout all stages of product development: design, prototyping, validation, and transfer to production.

• Define digital architecture.
• Program modules in VHDL or Verilog.
• Validate and verify FPGA‑based schematics.
• Determine schematic requirements for proper FPGA functioning.
• Participate in schematic reviews involving FPGAs.
• Assist with PCB design layout oversight.
• Support the start‑up of FPGA‑based electronic prototypes.
• Write and run prototype test programs.
• Perform and run simulations.
• Collaborate closely with Electronics and Firmware designers.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in electronics.
• Minimum five years of experience in VHDL design.
• Knowledge of Altium electronic schematic software (asset).
• Knowledge of the Xilinx suite.
• Knowledge of the Lattice Suite (asset).
• Knowledge of high‑speed design (asset).
• Knowledge of Model Sim (asset).
• Knowledge of NDT, ECT, PAUT (asset).
• Positive communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Rigorous and concerned about a job well done.

• All positions based in Quebec require proficiency in French, both written and spoken.
• Functional skills in English are required to meet the needs of our offices and clients internationally.
