In this senior role, you will direct project design teams and manage tasks related to high-voltage overhead lines from 60kV to 735kV. Your extensive expertise in engineering will guide project documentation, compliance with CIMA+'s practices, and mentor junior staff. This position demands high analytical skills and project management capabilities to meet budget and timeline constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design teams for high‑voltage transmission projects
- Prepare engineering documentation, including proposals and reports
- Execute design work packages with cost and schedule management
- Provide technical support during construction and field reviews
- Review and mentor designs completed by junior engineers
- University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering
- Registration or eligibility for Canadian Qualified Engineering
- Proficiency with PLS‑CADD and CAD software
- Fieldwork experience in construction environments
