Join the HVDC Reliability Program Engineering Department, where you will be responsible for managing complex projects, particularly the Bipole 1 Valve and Controls Replacement Project. Your expertise in engineering will guide all planning, design, and commissioning activities. Ensure effective collaboration with various teams, focusing on delivering high-quality results and meeting technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate engineering activities among multidisciplinary teams
• Lead procurement and commissioning of HVDC system assets
• Conduct quality reviews for technical criteria of contracts
• Develop project approval documents including scope and schedules
• Mentor and supervise project staff effectively
Requirements:
• Engineering degree with seven years of relevant experience
• Professional membership with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
• Knowledge of electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering
• Proficient in Project Management theory and practice
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
