You will design complex fire protection systems, leveraging your expertise in NFPA standards, hydraulic calculations, and project management to significantly boost community safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive fire protection systems with code compliance
• Conduct hydraulic calculations and detailed fire system analysis
• Create reports and presentations utilizing BIM/CAD tools
• Provide expert code compliance guidance to project teams
• Perform field inspections to verify design adherence
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering
• P.Eng. certification in Canada is mandatory
• Over 7 years of relevant experience in engineering projects
• Experience with sprinkler system calculations required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit design software
