Quantity Surveyor – Contract

Salary: 250 - 300 per day

Location: Kent

Regions: South East, Surrey

An opportunity has come available within a growing regional team, for a leading Main & Regional Contractor. Due to continued growth in established markets and expansion into new areas, they are looking to expand their established Commercial team working on a project in Kent.

With over 30 years’ experience operating throughout the UK, they provide a comprehensive range of Civil engineer & Infrastructure solutions (minor & major civils work, highways and infrastructure).

As a key member of the commercial team, reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor and mentoring Grad /AQS’s, you will be responsible for procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain. Managing projects from award through to final accounts, reporting on monthly cost/value reconciliations, assisting with change and managing variations.

• Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification and experience
• Civil Engineering and Infrastructure experience
• Previous Main Contracting and or Sub Contractor experience
• NEC contract experience
• Sub contract procurement and management experience
• Financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience
