NERC Compliance Engineer

Position: NERC Compliance Engineer at Clearlight Energy

Clearlight Energy is seeking a P&C NERC Compliance Engineer to manage compliance activities and system analyses. You will oversee both high-complexity operations and support projects related to renewable energy resources. The ideal candidate will possess experience with medium and high voltage systems, relay protection schemes, and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical engineering support for compliance and project tasks

• Complete modeling and testing for NERC and market compliance

• Analyze design modifications for power system optimization

• Manage CAPEX and OPEX activities in protection & control

• Troubleshoot power system operations during events
Requirements:

• 4+ years in electrical engineering, specializing in P&C/NERC compliance

• Strong understanding of substation equipment and power generation

• Familiarity with PSCAD and compliance standards

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Licensed Engineer or eligible for licensure in North America
