Babcock is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Winnipeg to ensure our aircraft maintain high operational standards for defense and civil customers.
As part of Babcock Canada, you will work on CL215/CL415 Water Bomber Aircraft and Commander 690's. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing aircraft systems using specialized tools while mentoring AME apprentices. Timely record-keeping and strict adherence to safety protocols are essential to your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical and structural system repairs and modifications
• Utilize aviation diagnostic equipment effectively
• Manage maintenance record accuracy and completeness
• Mentor AME apprentices, promoting their industry skills
• Ensure compliance with safety and health guidelines
Requirements:
• Hold a valid M1 and/or M2 AME license
• Familiarity with CL-215/CL-415 aircraft preferred
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to travel for extended durations required
• Eligible for necessary security clearance certifications
