Position: Full-Time Mechanical Systems Engineer
Take your mechanical engineering career to the next level at Efficiency Manitoba. We're seeking a dedicated Mechanical Systems Engineer to enhance energy efficiency in high-performance buildings across Manitoba.
In this full-time role, you'll report to the Mechanical Systems Technical Lead while collaborating with our New Construction and High-Performance Buildings team. Your focus will be on energy-efficient building design in commercial and multi-unit residential sectors, ensuring operational commissioning aligns with energy codes and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee energy model reviews for new and retrofit projects

• Support commercial energy efficiency programs and initiatives

• Develop educational materials and presentations for stakeholders

• Engage with building professionals on energy efficiency upgrades

• Maintain relationships within the design and construction industry
Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years experience

• Knowledge of building mechanical systems and energy efficiency

• Experience in HVAC systems and energy modeling

• Familiarity with building energy modeling software

• Strong communication skills and project management abilities
