Shape the future of cold-climate engineering with Fuerte Metals as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. Lead vital projects at the Coffee Gold Project in Yukon, ensuring safety and production success.
As a vital member of the Technical Services Team, you will spearhead all geotechnical designs and analyses for groundbreaking mining operations. Drawing from your extensive experience, you'll develop stability models, conduct deformation assessments, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards. Your insights will drive improvements in geotechnical safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and analysis of geotechnical projects
• Perform thermal and seepage analyses for project feasibility
• Ensure designs meet safety and construction standards
• Oversee geotechnical inspections and monitoring programs
• Engage with regulators and prepare technical compliance documents
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Over 10 years in geotechnical engineering roles
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligibility in Yukon
• Skills in translating technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Familiarity with Yukon Indigenous Peoples’ customs is an asset
