Environmental Scientist in Remediation

Position: WSP Environmental Scientist in Remediation
Take on the role of Environmental Scientist with WSP's RPM team, specializing in contaminated site remediation. Work from Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Regina and lead critical field assessments.

As an Environmental Scientist at WSP, you'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to addressing complex environmental challenges. Your responsibilities will include leading field investigations and developing health and safety plans. You'll also mentor junior staff while managing substantial project components and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement health and safety plans for field operations

• Set up and manage field work programs

• Conduct comprehensive site monitoring and assessments

• Prepare work scopes and technical proposals

• Collaborate closely with project managers and technicians

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in contaminated site work

• Knowledge of regulations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba

• Experience in relevant soil and groundwater practices

• Professional designation is preferred
