Advance your career as a Lead Engineer with a focus on structural projects in Winnipeg. This role emphasizes project supervision, budget management, and quality assurance in construction.
As a Supervising Engineer, you will lead diverse engineering tasks for structural contracts. With at least eight years of experience in heavy construction, you will ensure that projects meet regulatory standards through effective communication and oversight. Supporting junior engineers and managing workflows will be essential, alongside maintaining strict budget and deadline management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure contractual compliance and quality assurance on projects
• Supervise workflows and guide team members effectively
• Conduct detailed inspections according to project drawings
• Compile, review, and manage contract specifications
• Handle construction budgets and liaise between contractors and clients
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in heavy construction
• Registration as Qualified Engineer or O.A.C.E.T.T. Technician
• Familiarity with Ontario's engineering standards
• Proficiency in Office software and MS Project preferred
