WSP is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist to join its Remediation Program Management team, based in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Regina. In this role, you will conduct field investigations, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your work will contribute to effective contaminated site management and adhere to complex regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate project fieldwork and instruction preparation
• Conduct investigations for soil, groundwater, and sediment
• Manage subcontractors during site remediation efforts
• Mentor junior staff through environmental assessments
• Prepare detailed technical reports and proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience in site assessments
• Required remedial excavation experience
• Familiarity with local environmental regulations
• Previous soil and groundwater sampling experience
