You’ll work closely with engineers and project managers to bring designs to life and ensure our projects meet client expectations and technical standards in a fast-paced, multi-project environment that values precision, collaboration, and a strong team work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inputs from internal teams and external sub-consultants.
  • Assist with quantity take-offs and design calculations.
  • Provide field and office support during construction, including responding to contractor inquiries.
  • Contribute to project delivery that meets timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Produce water and wastewater infrastructure drawings including plan and profile views, site layouts, pump station arrangements, and process/mechanical schematics, consistent with applicable municipal and provincial design standards.
  • Manage concurrent drawing deliverables across multiple active projects; adapt priorities efficiently as project scopes and timelines evolve.
What You Bring
  • Diploma in Civil/Environmental/Construction Management or Computer Drafting (AutoCAD/Civil 3D), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong design skills and a passion for precision and creativity.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and PDF editing tools.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to ethical standards.
  • Experience producing water and wastewater infrastructure drawings, including process schematics, process and instrumentation drawings, mechanical/equipment arrangement drawings, etc.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach suited to a fast-paced, multi-project environment; able to manage competing priorities and deadlines while supporting colleagues across disciplines.
  • CADD work samples for consideration of work quality.
Bonus Skills (Assets)
  • Experience with municipal infrastructure design (vertical and horizontal).
  • Familiarity with BIM, and Micro Station is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to project management and contract administration.
  • Experience producing water and wastewater infrastructure drawings, including plan/profile for mains and sewers, and pump station and plant site plans.
What Success Looks Like

  • You collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • You respond quickly and professionally to field inquiries and design adjustments.
  • You contribute to a positive team culture and demonstrate initiative in learning and growth.
  • You help us exceed client expectations through your technical expertise and dedication.
Benefits
  • A collaborative culture where friendship, honesty and respect are part of our core values and practices
  • Flexible working hours and office locations, including hybrid working opportunities
  • A competitive compensation and benefits package
