Potable water treatment system and waste water​/labourer

Responsibilities

Under the authority of the municipal inspector:

• Ensures the control of the quality of water, takes samples of water for analysis and undertakes the actions prescribed in case of deviation from standards;
• Makes sure that the chlorine dosage in the aqueduct network are up to standards and keep the inventory of products;
• Inspects the aqueduc, sewage pumping stations and all buildings regularly as well as the networks, carries out preventive operating and maintenance;
• Recommends additions or improvements to works and ensures more productive operation and efficiency;
• Inspects and cares for municipal lands and municipal dumpsites;
• Cares for road work and municipal signaling;
• Execute all other tasks related to technical services assigned by the municipality;
• Garbage collection (for short term)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driving license
• OTUFD (Groundwater treatment with filtration and water distribution system certification) is a requirement (Training will be offered)

• Be able to work in a team
• Knowledge of french language would be an asset
