Aircraft Detail Parts Methods Engineer

As a Methods Engineer, you will create and implement robust manufacturing processes for aircraft parts and subassemblies. Your primary focus will be on integrating aerostructural assembly techniques while ensuring precision in flow chart preparation. This position demands hands-on experience with key processes, including rivet installation, electrical bonding, and composite material handling, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing processes for both metallic and composite parts

• Perform critical assembly applications and solvent cleaning

• Execute aerostructure repair processes and taper sanding

• Conduct composite structural rework, final bagging, and curing

• Operate abrasive machining processes on metallic components

Requirements:

• Expertise in aero structural assembly integration

• Proficient in GD&T and engineering drawings

• Familiarity with NDT methods like FPI and MPI

• Strong grasp of composite repair and assembly processes

• Excellent foundations in engineering and manufacturing
