Position: OCS Engineer for Urban Rail Projects
Egis Canada seeks a mid- to senior-level Overhead Contact System Engineer for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Your expertise in electrification systems will support urban rail and light rail infrastructure projects.

This role emphasizes designing, integrating, and delivering Overhead Contact Systems within multidisciplinary teams. You'll ensure project specifications, safety requirements, and railway standards are met throughout all phases of the project. Responsibilities include developing design criteria, technical integration with railway systems, and managing project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop design criteria for OCS systems

• Collaborate during design phases with team members

• Ensure technical integration with other railway systems

• Participate in clash detection and BIM integration

• Monitor design progress and report critical issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Systems Engineering

• 5-10 years in OCS design or implementation

• Strong knowledge of railway standards for OCS

• Proficient in CAD tools and OCS calculation software

• Excellent communication skills, French is an asset
