Position: Structural Engineer – WSP Buildings Team )

Enhance building projects across Manitoba as a Structural Engineer with WSP’s Structures team in Winnipeg. This intermediate-level role focuses on the design and quality of secure, resilient spaces for communities.

In this key role, you will design and analyze various structural systems and work on technical documentation for projects. Collaborating with architects and engineers ensures the successful delivery of integrated building solutions, while maintaining compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and design structural systems for diverse materials
Develop calculations and prepare detailed technical specifications
Collaborate with project teams for integrated solutions
Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
Participate in condition assessments and site visits

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Experience of 4+ years in structural engineering
Familiarity with Canadian structural design standards
Proficient in structural analysis design software
Excellent communication and writing abilities
