Project Manager in Design & Construction

Drive the expansion of CN's Western Canada business as a Project Manager in Design and Construction. Access hands-on experience in project management while ensuring safety, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.

This role within CN's Design and Construction team, based in the Western Region, supports capacity expansion through project oversight. You will manage collaborations with internal teams and external stakeholders, enhancing your engineering expertise. The position involves site visits and requires adaptability to emergency situations, ensuring optimized project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to lead projects and meet budgetary goals

• Conduct site visits to assess conditions for design optimization

• Support scheduled in-service project work as needed

• Engage with municipalities and government agencies for collaboration

• Apply critical thinking to assess design standards and documents

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of project management or rail design experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• Engineering in Training (EIT) certification

• Valid Driver’s License with rural driving capabilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
