ETCS/ERTMS Signaling Engineer

AtkinsRéalis seeks a dedicated engineer to join their Rail Control Systems team. You will tackle the design and validation of advanced signaling solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your work will significantly impact the future of Canadian rail systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the deployment of ETCS Level 1 and 2 solutions
• Develop clear technical requirements for project tenders
• Assess design compliance and identify risks
• Utilize knowledge of relevant ERTMS Subsets
• Conduct rigorous testing protocols for validation
Requirements:
• Expertise in ETCS/ERTMS signaling and system validation
• Strong understanding of Subset-026 and components
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Membership eligibility in a Canadian Professional Engineering Association
• Previous experience with manufacturers or rail operators
