Drive innovative underground operations as a Mine Planning Specialist. Your analytical capabilities will be vital for enhancing productivity and compliance in our mining processes.
As an Underground Mine Planning Specialist, you will create two-week plans to align with three-month objectives. Your analytical focus will identify bottlenecks and recommend strategic improvements to support operational readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate efficient mining operations while managing risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed mine development plans for execution
• Analyze operational data for enhanced forecasting
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety and geotechnical standards
• Track deliverables using structured tools and dashboards
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years in mine engineering or planning
• Proficient in data analysis and tracking tools
• Degree in Mine Engineering or related field preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Experience with Deswik software is a plus
