WSP's Remediation Program Management team, located in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Regina, is looking for an Intermediate Environmental Scientist. This position includes coordinating fieldwork, conducting thorough investigations, and preparing technical reports. You will also manage subcontractors and guide junior staff, ensuring adherence to health regulations and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare instruction for fieldwork

• Conduct investigations for soil, groundwater, and sediment

• Oversee subcontractors during site remediation processes

• Mentor junior team members on environmental assessments

• Develop proposals and technical reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering

• At least 1 year of site assessment experience

• Experience with remedial excavation

• Understanding of local environmental regulations

• Previous experience in soil and groundwater sampling
