Join Smartrend Manufacturing Group as a New Product Introduction Engineer and play a key role in bridging development to production phases. Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure successful product launches.
In this dynamic role, you will contribute to SMG's innovative projects focusing on producing high-quality parts while reducing emissions and enhancing safety in transportation. Your responsibilities will encompass managing NPI timelines and coordinating with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain production efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track NPI deliverables and coordinate inputs for production
• Conduct manufacturability reviews for efficiency
• Manage documentation with ERP and quality tools
• Drive deliverables through the NPI lifecycle
• Collaborate with sourcing for supplier qualification
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in NPI or manufacturing engineering
• Preferred degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Ability to read and analyze technical documentation
• Experience with CAD software and 3D printing
• Strong communication and analytical skills
