This full-time position reports directly to the Program Manager and mandates strict compliance with the Department of Labour Act, Steam and Pressure Plants Act, and related regulations. Strong communication skills are essential to relay technical information and author detailed inspection reports, while robust decision-making capabilities will support effective problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety acts and codes
• Report on inspections and compliance issues with authority
• Interpret and apply regulations for boiler installations
• Foster effective working relationships with stakeholders
• Manage and prioritize inspection tasks and deadlines
Requirements:
• 3rd Class Power Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or EIT
• Experience with boiler and pressure vessel inspection
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
