Transform electric propulsion systems with Dana as a Motor Control Engineer. Engage in advanced algorithm development and performance testing while based in Boucherville, QC.
As a critical team member, you will contribute to Dana’s Advanced Motor and Inverter Technology Development.
Your role involves designing, implementing, and validating control algorithms for electric machines, while reducing costs and improving efficiency for future e-Propulsion platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create motor control algorithms for electrical machines
• Use MATLAB/Simulink to automate motor loss estimations
• Assist with prototype testing and technological advancements
• Validate performance through detailed test data analysis
• Provide bi-monthly progress updates to executive leadership
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in motor controls and inverter design
• 2+ years of relevant lab experience with high voltage systems
• Strong background in electromagnetics and motor designs
• Capability to work on-site in Boucherville, QC
