Contribute to environmental safety with WSP as an Intermediate Environmental Scientist focused on remediation and fieldwork across Canada. Leverage your knowledge to impact contaminated site management.
WSP's Remediation Program Management team is hiring an Intermediate Environmental Scientist for its Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Regina locations. In this dynamic role, you will conduct investigations, coordinate project fieldwork, and prepare comprehensive technical reports. You will also mentor junior staff and oversee remediation efforts to comply with local environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate project fieldwork and instructions

• Conduct environmental investigations of soil and groundwater

• Manage subcontractors for remediation tasks

• Provide mentorship during environmental assessments

• Draft technical reports and project proposals
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering

• Minimum of 1 year site assessment experience

• Required experience in remedial excavation

• Knowledge of local environmental regulations

• Previous soil and groundwater sampling experience
