Arcadis is hiring a Technical Mine Water Specialist to enhance our Canadian Mine Sector services. This role emphasizes direct mining project experience and technical expertise in water treatment.
As a Mine Water Specialist, you will apply your knowledge to manage and treat mine water effectively throughout the full mining life cycle. A Master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience are essential for this position. You will engage with clients, oversee engineering design, and provide guidance to junior staff while working on projects in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate alternatives for water management treatment
Prepare work plans and engineering documentation
Act as a liaison with clients and regulatory bodies
Direct analytical labs for specialized tests
Support water treatment in other industrial sectors
Requirements MSc in environmental or civil engineering
Qualified accreditation in relevant province
At least 8 years of industry experience
Strong technical communication and writing skills
Background in both operational phases of mining
