Position: Operator Role in Water and Wastewater
Enhance your career as a Water and Wastewater Facilities Operator in North Bay, Ontario. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the health and safety of municipal water distribution and wastewater systems.

Under the direction of the Sewer & Water Supervisor, you will be tasked with inspecting and repairing essential systems for optimal efficiency. Candidates need at least one year of operating experience and must hold Class I Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment certifications. Strong mechanical skills and experience with SCADA systems are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of water systems

• Maintain municipal wastewater collection systems

• Provide guidance on safety regulations

• Complete and file all necessary operational reports

• Efficiently utilize SCADA and Hansen systems

Requirements:

• Diploma in Environmental Technology or equivalent

• Class I certifications for water and wastewater

• Minimum one-year certified operating experience

• Excellent mechanical aptitude

• Solid communication and reporting skills
