This permanent role calls for a seasoned engineer with at least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly focused on nuclear and heavy industrial applications. You will use your skills in design and analysis to ensure top standards in project execution. Your coordination with stakeholders and mentorship of junior staff are crucial to team success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement engineering tasks in line with quality assurance requirements
• Create comprehensive piping layouts and designs
• Carry out thermal and seismic analyses adhering to ASME standards
• Prepare detailed engineering documents, including reports
• Guide junior staff and coordinate technical project components
Requirements:
• Mechanical Engineering degree with P.Eng designation
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience
• Experience with CANDU systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of engineering codes and standards
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
