Engineering Expert Sustainability

Position: Engineering Expert - Performance & Sustainability
Drive impactful sustainability initiatives as a Performance Engineer at Johnson Controls. This position combines engineering design with operational strategies to enhance building systems and energy efficiency.

As part of the Sustainability Infrastructure Services Team, your focus will be on facility management, particularly energy management and building automation systems. You will collaborate with Customer Business Managers to create innovative solutions while engaging actively in design discussions. This role involves site-based responsibilities and requires up to 50% travel for project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer engineering recommendations during design and construction

• Review M&E drawings for compliance with regulations

• Support teams in energy management efforts

• Analyze design submittals for operational implications

• Formulate standard operating procedures for facilities

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or technical diploma is required

• At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC and fire safety systems

• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities

• Willingness to travel frequently
