Position: Leadership Role in Environmental Permitting
Take charge as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist at WSP, overseeing environmental and regulatory strategies for infrastructure projects in Ontario. Engage with stakeholders and ensure compliance.
This role involves leading the environmental permitting process from project conception through construction phases. You will provide critical regulatory advice, manage risks, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective project outcomes. Your leadership ensures that all environmental standards and regulations are upheld throughout the lifecycle of significant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead permitting and compliance strategies for multi-disciplinary projects

• Guide teams in regulatory pathways and approvals sequences

• Develop monitoring systems for environmental permits and risks

• Support compliance during the construction phase

• Collaborate with Indigenous communities and stakeholders
Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years in environmental permitting and compliance

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines

• Strong familiarity with Ontario’s environmental legislation

• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

• Successful track record in major infrastructure permitting
