At Jacobs, we're looking for an experienced electrical engineer with a focus on HVDC/FACTS technologies. You will play a vital role in leading projects at different stages, assisting with design studies, and ensuring seamless vendor communication for Owners Engineering tasks. Your collaboration with various engineering disciplines will be essential to project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVDC related projects from inception to completion

• Support conceptual and FEED design studies

• Communicate effectively with vendors on project needs

• Conduct FAT and SAT testing, providing necessary support

• Work alongside cable, civil, and environmental engineers
Requirements:

• Extensive background in high-voltage engineering and HVDC/FACTS

• Experience in design studies and technical specifications

• Participation in IEEE and CIGRE conferences is a plus

• Strong collaborative skills within a hybrid framework

• Flexibility to take on conventional electrical tasks
