This position targets engineers with significant experience in underground projects. You will manage project costs, analyze design criteria, and take the lead on cable selection and ampacity calculations. Additionally, you will implement CAD design principles and develop construction specifications, overseeing a dedicated project team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and layout underground transmission lines
• Manage technical specifications and procurement materials
• Perform calculations for cable pulling and tensioning
• Address siting and routing challenges efficiently
• Collaborate with clients to specify transmission components
Requirements:
• ABET-accredited BS degree required
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in cable design using XLPE
• Strong knowledge of NESC and IEEE standards
• Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
