Position: Engineering Lead for Distribution Design

As a Distribution Design Engineer, you'll supervise engineers and technical professionals while ensuring compliance with standards in Eastern Manitoba. You will manage design packages and collaborate with various stakeholders on residential, commercial, and street lighting projects, emphasizing innovation and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for overhead and underground projects

• Supervise design package preparation and project scheduling

• Mentor junior engineers in their professional development

• Negotiate with utilities and municipalities for project feasibility

• Perform field checks and recommend improvements to standards
Requirements:

• Engineering degree with seven years of experience

• Eligibility for professional membership in Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba

• Strong leadership and technical skills

• Solid understanding of distribution construction methods

• Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's Licence
