Become a pivotal Estimating Engineer focusing on electrical projects in Winnipeg, MB, employing your specialized skills in cost estimating and risk assessment to enhance project outcomes.
We are looking for an Estimating Engineer to take responsibility for crafting detailed cost estimates and construction schedules in the Project Services Department. You will engage in field analysis and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and effective project execution across various electrical sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop first principles cost estimates independently
• Conduct risk assessments and provide scheduling expertise
• Maintain labor and material databases for budgeting
• Support planning for electrical installations and utility projects
• Review feasibility and soundness of cost-related recommendations
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum six years of experience
• Must be a registered professional or obtain registration
• Experience with HVDC and transmission project estimating
• Competence in MS Office and specialist software
• Valid Manitoba Driver's Licence
