This role focuses on coordinating asset lifecycle activities, ensuring effective management of electrical and mechanical equipment within the utility sector. You will maintain inventory data while collaborating with engineers and specialists for investment strategy planning. The ideal candidate will drive evidence-based decision-making and enhance asset performance through meticulous analysis and adherence to best practices in asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain whole life cost models for asset performance
• Vet incoming asset requests and prioritize needs
• Support the development of the capital asset portfolio
• Gather expert input for strategic asset activities
• Facilitate project evaluations using corporate objectives
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering with at least six years of experience
• Membership with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba
• In-depth knowledge of asset management practices
• Working experience with capital investment planning
• Valid Manitoba Driver's Licence required
